2026 Combined National Instructor Training & Advanced Solo HPDE

National Trainers: Dan Germain (Lone Star Region) & Mia Walsh (National HPDE Chair)
The 2026 National Instructor Training (NIT) will be run in conjunction with a one-day Solo HPDE. Participation is open to current instructors, instructor candidates, candidate mentors, and Solo-approved drivers.
For Solo drivers, this is a one-day, HPDE experience—with no requirement to desire to be an instructor. Drivers considering future instructor development will gain insight into the national instructor training process.
Eligibility:
- Solo drivers must be signed off by an AMR or RMR CDI.
- Instructor Candidates and Mentors (you have been invited but need to sign up)
- All current AMR and RMR Instructors are encouraged to participate.
Run Groups & Passing:
- Run groups will be determined by registration, and solo drivers will not be combined with the NIT group.
- At least one run group will include expanded passing rules.
- Point-by passing required in all run groups (one car per point-by).
Tech:
- Valid AMR or RMR 30-day or 120-day tech forms required.
- No on-site tech inspection.
Other Details:
- Lunch is included with registration.
- City of Pueblo per-car, per-day track fee applies and will be added at registration.
Event requirements
Tech Inspection: Please bring a completed 30-day or 120-day tech form with you to the event. Drivers using the 120-day form must also bring the 3rd page, completed and signed to be handed in at registration.
Normal HPDE attendance guidelines apply for this event.
